NOTICE OF POLICIES AND PRACTICES OF THE DICLOSURE OF NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION
At the A-1 Insurance Agency & Action Insurance Group, Inc., your privacy is important to us and we are committed to protecting your privacy and earning your trust. We are required by federal statute, specifically the Gramm Leach Bliley Act, to provide you with certain information about our practices regarding the nonpublic person information we obtain from you and about you in the ordinary course of business. Our practices of information gathering in order to provide your personal insurance are usual, appropriate and acceptable method for the purposes of insurance underwriting and reinsurance. Disclosures to the entities described here are permitted by law, and we only disclose your nonpublic personal information as permitted by law. Also, we do not disclose nonpublic personal information about former customers except as permitted by law. At the A-1 Insurance Agency & Action Insurance Group, Inc., we notify each employee of our strict employment policy against any employee accessing nonpublic personal information for any reason other than to fulfill their job requirements or as permitted by law. All employees are also required to report to their supervisor any unauthorized use of customer’s and consumer’s nonpublic personal information of which any employee becomes aware, so that the matter may be investigated and appropriate disciplinary action taken. We use your Internet Provider (IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer the website. IP addresses are used to track a user’s session. This information gives us a better idea of which areas of the site are useful and which areas are not. Further, we will not solicit you as a result of you accessing our website. Our site’s registration forms, found in the Agent’s and Policyholder’s Areas, require users to enter unique identifiers (such as a policy number). These unique identifiers are collected to verify the user’s identity. This site contains links to other sites. A cookie is a small data file that certain websites write to your hard drive when you visit them.
